Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Weekend Engagement Supervisor to join our team. This is a weekend-only position, and the role focuses on enriching the lives of our residents by fostering an environment of warmth, engagement, personalized attention, and consistent support. The ideal candidate is someone with a genuine passion for working with individuals with dementia and the ability to deliver exceptional hospitality while supporting overall resident well-being.

In addition, the Weekend Engagement Supervisor will assist with management oversight, helping ensure daily operations run smoothly by supporting care staff, maintaining activity schedules, ensuring standards of hospitality are upheld, and promoting a flourishing environment for both residents and team members.

What We Are Looking For

Provide exceptional hospitality to guests entering the cottage.  Ensure residents feel comfortable, respected, and supported in all aspects of their daily lives.

Companionship

Foster positive relationships through meaningful one-on-one interactions, conversations, and emotional support.

Management Oversight

Support daily cottage operations by:

  • Assisting with the coordination of care and activity schedules
  • Upholding resident engagement standards
  • Providing guidance and direction to staff during shifts
  • Helping ensure a safe, clean, and flourishing environment
  • Communicating resident needs or concerns to leadership promptly
  • Making sure the WE FLOURISH brand standards are being met at all times

Qualifications

  • Confidence in providing gentle direction and support to staff during daily operations.
