Job description

The Role

We are seeking a Certified Salesforce Architect with deep, hands-on experience in Salesforce CPQ and a strong command of the Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you will be the technical visionary, leading the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance solutions. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, specifically within Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and advanced Automations.

If you are an architect who thrives on solving complex configuration challenges and can architect a CPQ lifecycle, you would be a great fit for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Architecture: Lead the end-to-end architectural design for complex Salesforce implementations, ensuring alignment with 10Pearls' best practices and client business goals.
  • CPQ Expertise: Architect and oversee the implementation of sophisticated Salesforce CPQ solutions, including advanced product configuration, pricing logic (block pricing, cost-plus), discounting workflows, and complex subscription management.
  • Cloud Specialization: Design robust solutions across Sales Cloud (opportunity management, territories, forecasting) and Experience Cloud (community portals, partner portals, SSO integration) to enhance user engagement and streamline operations.
  • Automation Strategy: Define and implement complex business processes using declarative automation tools (Flow, Process Builder) and Apex where necessary, ensuring optimal performance and maintainability.
  • Reporting & Visibility: Architect comprehensive reporting strategies, building complex reports and dynamic dashboards that provide stakeholders with actionable insights into sales performance and CPQ metrics.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, conducting code reviews and ensuring architectural governance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with C-level executives and business stakeholders to translate vision into a technical roadmap.

Required Certifications & Experience:

  • Active Salesforce Certifications: You must hold one or more of the following certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect.
  • CPQ Expertise: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on architectural experience with Salesforce CPQ. You understand the intricacies of product rules, constraint matrices, and quote-to-cash integrations.
  • Cloud Proficiency: Deep expertise in Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Full Lifecycle Experience: Proven track record of leading at least 3 end-to-end Salesforce implementations.

Technical & Architectural Skills:

  • Platform Depth: Expert knowledge of Salesforce declarative development (Flow, Validation Rules) and programmatic development (Apex, Lightning Web Components) to know when to use which tool.
  • Integrations: Strong understanding of integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware) and how to securely connect Salesforce with ERP systems.
  • Data Modeling: Ability to design scalable data models that support complex CPQ configurations and high-volume sales data.
  • DevOps: Familiarity with release management, sandbox strategies, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Jenkins).

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills-able to explain complex architectural trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance "ideal" architecture with practical business constraints and timelines.
