Job Title: CMM Programmer

Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Onsite

Duration: 6 – 12 months

Job Description:

Position Summary:

  • The CMM Programmer is responsible for developing, validating, and optimizing coordinate measuring machine programs to support dimensional inspection of aerospace components. This role plays a key part in ensuring inspection accuracy, product conformity, and manufacturing quality performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, validate, and maintain CMM programs for complex aerospace parts and assemblies;
  • interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and inspection plans to ensure dimensional compliance;
  • support first article, in-process, and final inspection activities;
  • troubleshoot inspection issues and improve measurement efficiency, repeatability, and program robustness;
  • collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to resolve dimensional discrepancies and support corrective actions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience programming coordinate measuring machines in a manufacturing environment; strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, inspection methods, and measurement principles;
  • ability to work with tight tolerances and quality-critical components;
  • experience supporting production and inspection operations in a precision manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace manufacturing or MRO experience; familiarity with common CMM software platforms and metrology best practices; experience supporting high-mix or fast-turnaround inspection environments.

Work Arrangement / Engagement Notes:

  • This role is generally expected to support on-site inspection and validation activities.
