JOB SCOPE &PURPOSE

The Account Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating agency resources to ensure that account needs are met. He/she acts as the daily internal contact and ensures that all projects for which he/she is responsible are completed on time, on specification, within scope, and on budget, while providing completed planning and documentation. The Account Executive ensures that support, information, and knowledge needed from the competencies are provided.

MAINRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as internal contact for account needs; fulfill daily client and internal team requests and ensure all projects assigned are executed to plan
  • Coordinate with other team members to monitor ongoing progress, makes adjustments when required, proactively identifies project issues/problems, assists in issue/problem resolution, and provides updates
  • Keep account team updated on the status of account activities; produces communication materials (contact and status reports, etc.) for both internal and external teams
  • Gather database-related work specifications from client and/or team members; provides concise and appropriate written specifications on inputs, outputs, internal processes, and quality assurance measures to the appropriate functional groups
  • Build and maintain a thorough understanding of the client's business and competitive environment; routinely contributes to competitive tracking projects
  • Develop a positive and partnering relationship with all team members
  • Oversee the accuracy and quality of agency product; assists with quality assurance and provides final sanity check for project deliverables
  • Track and reconciles costs posted to the billing system and handles revenue forecasting at the project level
  • Schedule and lead project status meetings, including preparation of meeting agendas and documenting status
  • Assist with building a positive culture
  • Develop and maintains proficiency with Targetbase tools and processes

EXPERIENCE &EDUCATION

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience
    • Strong preference for candidates with prior experience in marketing/advertising agency, professional services firm or in-house digital marketing team (internships count!!)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration

KNOWLEDGE &ABILITY

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to multitask and set priorities

Targetbase works a hybrid schedule. 3 days in office and 2 days working from home. Candidates must local to the Raleigh-Durham area and willing to be onsite in the Raleigh office 3 days a week.
