Cobra Concrete Cutting Services Co., the Midwest's leading concrete sawing and drilling contractor, is seeking a motivated Estimator / Project Manager for our Wheeling, IL location. This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for handling inbound estimate requests, supporting our outside sales team, and working closely with management and ownership. This role also provides estimating support to our other Cobra locations across Milwaukee/Madison, Central Illinois, Southern Illinois, and Northwest Indiana. Projects are also bid and performed all over the United States.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and online take-off software
  • Experience or interest in areas such as concrete flatwork, demolition, or GPR a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with public bids, DOT and non-DOT, State, Municipal and SAM.gov system.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and desire to grow within the company

Requirements:
  • Previous construction, estimating, or project management experience preferred
  • Pass a required pre-employment drug screen & random
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving history
  • Required to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
