How Your Role Fits In
As an Inventory Control Specialist / Warehouse worker at our Appleton East Distribution Center. You will be accountable for executing all inventory processes for Appvion products. You will work directly with the operations team to ensure inventory processes are followed across job functions in the facility. When not actively working on inventory initiatives, you will work in the warehouse on the floor as a forklift operator in various capacities.
Our extensive, paid 2-week training program, paired with ongoing mentorship, will provide you with the skills and confidence needed to succeed. You'll have dedicated support to help you apply your training to daily operations, setting you up for long-term success. WOW Logistics is a drug Free Workplace, and the Warehouse Worker position is considered a safety-sensitive position.
What you'll do:
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and verify orders, build pallets, and ensure shipments are accurate using various types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Safety First: Operate MHE such as forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, adhering to all safety requirements and policies
  • Team Collaboration: Work independently or alongside others to meet high-demand workloads with precision and efficiency. Attending daily customer inventory control meetings. Work with the customer to execute and answer all requests. Communicate to buyers any damages, variances, discrepancies, paperwork errors and overall issues.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, store, and ship products while maintaining accurate inventory records utilizing RF scanning equipment. Function as the execution owner for the book-to-book inventory accuracy. Manage inventory adjustment and damage reports. Investigate and resolve daily OS&D errors and create a root cause analysis. Oversee cycle counting and meeting the customers' expectations on a quarterly basis.

  • Basic experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
