Salary: $115,000 - $150,000/year

Empirical is seeking an experienced Manager, Financial Analytics & Data Warehouse to lead a major financial systems modernization initiative. This role is ideal for a seasoned BI professional with deep expertise in financial analytics, data warehouse architecture, and enterprise reporting who is ready to drive high-impact transformation at the enterprise level.


What You'll Do

  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of dashboards, analytics objects, and enterprise reports supporting financial, procurement, and asset management systems.
  • Architect and manage data warehouse solutions, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across reporting environments.
  • Build and maintain BI solutions, including data models, metadata structures, and reporting frameworks.
  • Drive data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance across reporting environments.
  • Partner with technical teams, data owners, and senior program stakeholders to define and deliver BI, analytics, and data architecture requirements.
  • Champion modernization efforts by expanding reporting capabilities and advancing enterprise data strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in financial, procurement, or asset management systems, with hands-on BI development, data architecture, and data warehouse management
  • MA/MS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in BI development, including dashboards, analytics, and enterprise reporting tools
  • Deep knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, data structures, and data warehouse design
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical teams, data owners, and executive stakeholders
  • Federal government experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation or security clearance
