Job description

Role: Lead Designer – Basketball Apparel Color Design Engineer

Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote)

Duration: 6 Months Contract (Potential Extension)


We are seeking a creative and highly collaborative Lead Designer to help shape seasonal color direction and storytelling across Basketball apparel collections.

In this role, you will develop innovative color palettes, seasonal narratives, and consumer-driven design concepts that influence future product experiences. You'll partner closely with Apparel Design, Product Management, Development, and Creative teams while helping drive compelling color theories and visual storytelling.


Key Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of experience in Apparel, Color, Textile, Graphic, or Product Design

• Expert-level Adobe Illustrator skills

• Strong Photoshop proficiency

• Experience with Miro, CLO 3D, and Vizcom

• Strong understanding of textiles, color theory, and apparel applications

• Ability to translate consumer insights into compelling design narratives

• Excellent presentation and communication skills


Preferred:

• Experience across both Footwear and Apparel

• Sportswear, streetwear, or athletic apparel background

• Strong storytelling and presentation capabilities
