Our client is a growing and highly respected coffee distribution company partnered with a leading luxury coffee brand. They service premium accounts throughout the Chicago territory and pride themselves on exceptional client service and operational excellence.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated, service-driven professional to manage client relationships while overseeing inventory operations within their territory.
Position Overview
This role combines customer relationship management, light sales growth, and inventory oversight. The ideal candidate will maintain strong partnerships with existing clients, identify upsell opportunities, and ensure inventory levels are properly managed to meet demand.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1โ3 years of experience in Coffee or Food & Beverage distribution looking to grow into a territory-based management role.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Maintain strong relationships and ensure exceptional service
- Conduct periodic client visits throughout the Chicago territory
- Identify upsell and account expansion opportunities
- Resolve service issues quickly and professionally
Inventory Management
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for assigned accounts
- Coordinate product replenishment and order forecasting
- Work closely with internal logistics and warehouse teams
- Ensure product availability aligns with client demand
- Track usage trends and anticipate restocking needs
Qualifications
- 1โ3 years of experience in Coffee, Food & Beverage, or Distribution
- Experience managing inventory or product replenishment preferred
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Sales-minded with ability to grow existing accounts
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Comfortable working independently in a territory-based role
- Bachelorโs degree preferred but not required
