Job description

Come join the Fit2Run team as a Driver at our Distribution Center located within downtown Bradenton!

A Warehouse Driver will perform functions and duties, as delegated by the DC Management Team, in a safe, accurate and timely manner.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Scheduled weekly deliveries to our retail stores (within Florida). May require some overnight stays in hotels.

Ability to drive any company or rented vehicles (trucks) in making deliveries to stores, Expo's, Events or New Store openings. Vehicle types include but not limited to Sprinter vans, 26' and 16' box trucks.

Perform routine pre-trip safety checks, general maintenance and regular cleaning on all company delivery vehicles.

Communicate with DC Management, any questions, concerns or issues arising from weekly store deliveries, immediately upon return to the DC.

Unloading/loading of fixtures, supplies, marketing material and merchandise coming into or going out of DC.

Must be able to lift 40lbs.

Must be able to use a pallet jack.

Be available to assist with the set-up, restocking and breakdown of offsite Expo's, events, tent sales and new store set ups. These could be 1-to-5-day overnight trips and weekends.

Perform general organization in the DC, including pallet movement, fixture movement and storage and staging of merchandise on shelves.

Assist in the transferring and boxing of product from or for store-to-store movement, events, and non- inventory efficiently.

Communicate consistently and effectively across all levels in the DC.

Daily cleaning (sweeping, trash removal, cardboard breakdown etc.), both inside and outside of the facility.

Skills / Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
