What will you be doing?
Circana seeks a passionate consultant and client advocate with strong analytic skills to advance solutions and insights that best build the client's strategic vision. Collaborate with our clients and internal teams to maximize and apply insights gleaned from Circana data including store data analysis, household purchase behavior analysis, surveys, audits, data modeling, in-market testing, and other custom projects.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive Client Growth: Identify where Circana solutions can add value by spotting emerging issues, unmet needs, or opportunities for deeper engagement. Elevate these opportunities to your manager.
  • Deliver Insight-Led Solutions: Analyze POS, consumer panel, and syndicated data to identify trends, diagnose performance, and shape strategy. Build clear, insight-led presentations with actionable implications.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal category experts, analytics teams, product partners, and other specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Maintain Industry Expertise: Stay current on CPG market dynamics, category trends, competitive shifts, and consumer behavior.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Serve as the primary analytic partner to client brand and insights teams. Maintain strong relationships and alignment on priorities.
  • Utilize Sales Tools and Platforms: Use Circana platforms such as Unify and other proprietary tools, to support reporting, analysis, and engagement.
  • Champion Client Success: Provide proactive, consistent support across analytic requests and strategic initiatives. Anticipate needs and help clients navigate ambiguity.
  • Advanced Analytic Skills: Frame analytic questions, execute fact-based analyses, and synthesize insights that inform strategy, marketing activation, and performance diagnosis.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in CPG insights, analytics, category management, consulting, or related fields
  • Strong expertise in Point-of-Sale (POS), consumer panel, and syndicated data
  • Experience with syndicated data tools (Circana/IRI/NielsenIQ etc.) is required
  • Proven ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for brand and marketing teams
  • Strong communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Tableau or Power BI is a plus
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and structuring recommendations with limited information
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field

Location: This position can be located in the following area(s): Arlington, VA (or surrounding areas) with on-site requirements at the client office up to 3 days per week.
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 USD.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
