Job description

CyberLinx Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems & Network Engineer (Tier 3 / Lead Infrastructure) to design, implement, secure, and optimize our enterprise infrastructure environment. This role serves as the highest level of technical escalation and is responsible for architectural leadership, complex troubleshooting, and strategic infrastructure planning.

The ideal candidate is a hands on technical leader with deep expertise across servers, networking, virtualization, cloud platforms, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain enterprise infrastructure (on-prem and cloud)
  • Lead architecture for Windows Server environments (e.g., Microsoft Windows Server)
  • Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Configure and support enterprise networking and firewalls (e.g., Cisco Systems, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks)
  • Support cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services
  • Implement security best practices, patching, backup, and disaster recovery

Infrastructure Architecture & Design

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade infrastructure environments
  • Lead architecture planning for on premises, hybrid, and cloud solutions
  • Develop scalable, resilient, and secure systems aligned with business objectives
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and best practices

Systems Engineering

  • Administer and optimize Windows Server environments (e.g., Microsoft Windows Server)
  • Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Oversee Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity services
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies

Network Engineering

  • Design and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure
  • Configure and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls (e.g., Cisco Systems, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks)
