This role is ideal for a consultant who can lead capital projects while embedding OpEx principles, including improving safety, quality, cost, and delivery. • Ensuring successful delivery outcomes and value realization across end-to-end or phase-driven projects, from initiation and scoping through scale-up and commissioning.
  • Management of projects within established scope, schedule, and budget while meeting and exceeding IPM project management standards
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to client leaders regarding delivery, translating business strategy into executable capital roadmaps, facilitating steering committees, core teams, and managing vendor relationships, and diagnosing capital and project management pain points and designing practical, scalable solutions
  • Leading or supporting end-to-end capital project lifecycle activities including opportunity identification and business case justification, Front-End Planning (FEL), scope definition, and design readiness, and realization across execution, commissioning, and startup
  • Embed Lean, OpEx, and Continuous Improvement principles into capital planning and execution while aligning capital projects to manufacturing excellence
  • Lead capital initiatives in GMP‑regulated environments and partner with Quality, Validation, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliant, right‑first‑time delivery
  • Integrate capital projects into site OpEx and quality maturity models
  • Support growth, automation, sustainability, and productivity investments and ensure capital solutions support plant throughput, labor efficiency, and operational stability while minimizing downtime and disruption to ongoing operations
  • Establish and manage integrated cost, schedule, scope, and risk controls
  • Support or stand-up capital PMO structures, standards, and governance models
  • Proactively identify execution risks and lead mitigation planning
  • Ensure disciplined change management and benefits tracking
  • Drive capability building through coaching client project managers, engineers, and operators, develop capital playbooks, standards, templates, and OpEx‑aligned delivery frameworks, and support organizational readiness for new assets, systems, and processes
  • Establishment and leadership of high-performance project teams, serving as the project advocate within the client organization. Lead, coordinate, facilitate, and motivate all associated project resources to gain alignment on project goals and deliverables
  • Creation and presentation of both executive-level and detailed updates throughout an engagement and within a final project readout deck
  • Development and documentation of high-level strategies for achieving specific objectives or completing activities (hierarchical strategy, budget and scope approvals, process flow, Final Project Summary, etc.).
  • Applying consultative skills to identify and prioritize opportunities based on best practices to address client-specific needs, leveraging IPM’s collective experience and ways of working
  • Daily project leadership with contractors, procurement, engineering, production, quality, maintenance, safety, supply chain, sanitation, finance, and other key stakeholders.
  • Balance strategy and execution in engagements while contributing to capability building
  • Professional communication with a broad spectrum of audiences from line operators to senior level executives.
  •
