Territory Manager, New Mexico Wholesale Sales

Verdes Cannabis | New Mexico
On Target Earnings: $60,000 annually | 75% Base Salary and 25% Commission | Full Time

Grow Leading Cannabis Brands Across New Mexico

Verdes Cannabis is seeking a driven Territory Manager to grow wholesale sales and strengthen account relationships throughout New Mexico. This field focused position represents Kiva Confections' nationally recognized Camino and Lost Farm products along with Verdes Cannabis' award-winning beverages and full catalog of medical and recreational products.

The Territory Manager will manage existing accounts, develop new business and execute sales programs that increase revenue, distribution and brand awareness.

This position requires statewide travel approximately four days per week, including overnight travel. Reliable transportation is required.

What You'll Do
  • Meet or exceed revenue and distribution goals across the assigned territory.
  • Manage and grow relationships with dispensary owners, buyers, managers and budtenders.
  • Identify and close new business opportunities throughout New Mexico.
  • Expand Kiva and Verdes product distribution within existing accounts.
  • Partner with Kiva, Verdes Marketing and retail partners to execute promotions, incentives, product launches, merchandising and training.
  • Use sales data and market insights to identify opportunities and guide territory strategy.
  • Track account activity, contacts and follow up accurately in HubSpot.
  • Support company goals related to sales, distribution, field activity and brand awareness.
What We're Looking For
  • At least three years of sales experience in cannabis, consumer packaged goods, spirits, wine or beer is strongly preferred.
  • Cannabis industry experience is preferred.
  • Proven success managing accounts, developing new business and growing revenue.
  • Strong relationship building, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a statewide territory.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. HubSpot experience is preferred.
  • Passion for cannabis and enthusiasm for representing premium products.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Position Requirements
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout New Mexico approximately four days per week.
  • Availability for overnight travel.
  • Ability to meet Motor Vehicle Report requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during events and dispensary visits.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
