Pre-Employment Screening & Federal Compliance: Casa Angelica is a certified Intermediate Care Facility funded through federal Medicaid programs. To ensure the safety of our residents and maintain compliance with federal funding requirements, employment is strictly contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screening. Because we operate under federal regulations, a positive test result for THC/cannabis will disqualify an applicant from employment, regardless of New Mexico's state laws regarding recreational or medical cannabis use.

Compensation:

$18 - $20 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe and timely transportation of residents to medical appointments, community outings, and other scheduled activities.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle, conducting regular checks to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Collaborate with caregivers and medical staff to coordinate transportation schedules and accommodate residents' needs.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming environment for residents during transit, fostering a sense of comfort and security.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing the safety of residents and the community.
  • Assist residents in boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring accessibility and support for all.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and families, providing updates on transportation schedules and any changes that may arise.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in driving passenger vehicles, with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and team members.
  • Proven track record of punctuality and reliability in a professional setting.
