Job description

Title: Business Systems Analyst

Location: Sacramento, CA/Plano, TX, locals only

Duration: 3 Months (C2H)

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business and system requirements through stakeholder collaboration.
  • Analyze existing systems and workflows; recommend and design improvements.
  • Partner with architects, developers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Support project planning, implementation, testing (functional, regression, UAT), and releases.
  • Lead UAT activities and ensure quality and acceptance criteria are met.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and post-release assistance.
  • Support data integration, reporting, and dashboards for business insights.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (SOX, PCI-DSS).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience with low-code platforms, SQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Exposure to microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud-native applications.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Agile certifications preferred (CSPO, PSPO, SAFe).
