ROLE SUMMARY:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for leading all brewery facilities maintenance, compliance, contractor management, and capital project activities for the Jacksonville Brewery. This position oversees a wide range of facility assets including HVAC systems, roofs, fire protection systems, elevators, drainage systems, security systems, parking lots, rail infrastructure, office facilities, and building envelopes. The Facilities Manager manages an annual maintenance budget exceeding $1 million while ensuring facility reliability, regulatory compliance, safety excellence, and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage change, prioritize multiple competing demands, oversee capital projects, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage an annual maintenance parts, contractor, and third-party labor budget exceeding $1 million.

Lead, coach, develop, and direct both Anheuser-Busch employees and third-party contractors supporting facility maintenance activities.

Manage contractor safety compliance, onboarding, EHS monitoring, and execution of approved safety plans.

Develop, monitor, and maintain facility compliance programs to meet local, state, federal, and Anheuser-Busch standards.

Coordinate and oversee required inspections, certifications, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs across facility systems.

Manage facility-related capital projects ranging from approximately $200,000 to $1.5 million, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Develop, implement, and improve facility standard operating procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance programs.

Identify opportunities to improve facility reliability, efficiency, compliance, and cost performance through continuous improvement initiatives.

Oversee maintenance, inspections, repairs, and replacements for:

- HVAC systems, controls, chilled water systems, and HEPA filtration units

- Roofs, roof drains, gutters, and building envelope systems

- Fire protection and fire alarm systems

- Freight and passenger elevators

- Truck scales and calibration systems

- Electrical distribution, lighting, exit signage, and emergency systems

- Security cameras, badge access systems, locksmith functions, and automatic gate systems

- Property fencing, signage, landscaping, parking lots, and exterior grounds

- Process drains, sanitary drains, lift stations, and plumbing systems

- Railroad infrastructure and track maintenance

- Fume hoods and laboratory equipment calibrations

- Building structures including floors, ceilings, walls, coatings, masonry, and painting

Support environmental compliance activities, including asbestos and lead abatement projects, environmental inspections, and contractor coordination.

Manage multiple priorities and daily maintenance requests while ensuring timely execution and completion.

Build strong partnerships with Operations, Engineering, EHS, Procurement, and external vendors to support brewery objectives.

Provide emergency response support and maintain 24-hour accountability for critical facility systems and projects as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 5 years of facilities, engineering, maintenance, construction management, or project management experience within a large manufacturing environment; Fortune 500 experience preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Workday.

SAP and cost accounting experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset.

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and provide off-hours support as business needs require.
