Job description

Overview
Bluewater Federal is looking for a Program Manager to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB.
The Base Maintenance (BMx) Family of Systems program provides critical lifecycle support for enterprise U.S. Air Force logistics and maintenance systems that enable global mission readiness and sustainment operations.
Responsibilities
  • Direct ART-level execution across all BMx systems.
  • Manage contract performance against PWS Section 7.0 metrics.
  • Lead Government engagement and operational governance activities.
  • Oversee staffing, risk management, scheduling, and operational priorities.
  • Chair release readiness and operational governance reviews.
  • Coordinate surge response efforts and mission-critical issue resolution.
  • Ensure alignment across modernization, sustainment, migration, and cybersecurity activities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
  • 15+ years of enterprise IT and/or program management experience.
  • 10+ years of experience managing DoD enterprise sustainment or modernization programs.
  • Experience managing Agile/SAFe and DevSecOps software delivery programs, including enterprise systems modernization, operational sustainment, release governance, RMF/cATO, cloud migration oversight, and program financial management.
  • Experience supporting Air Force, logistics, maintenance, or mission systems preferred.
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), PMP, ITIL Foundation or higher, and Security+ CE certifications preferred.
