Position Overview

The Senior Business Systems Analyst serves as the primary technical and functional expert for the organization's Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System. This role partners closely with Operations, IT leadership, infrastructure, security, and third-party vendors to support production operations, deliver new functionality, improve warehouse processes, and prepare the environment for future cloud initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of business analysis, technical development, application support, and security awareness while providing exceptional service to business users throughout the organization.


Key Responsibilities

Blue Yonder WMS Administration & Development

  • Configure, enhance, and support Blue Yonder (JDA) Warehouse Management System.
  • Translate operational business requirements into scalable system solutions.
  • Lead system configuration across receiving, inventory management, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, labor management, task management, and RF workflows.
  • Evaluate enhancement requests while recommending configuration versus customization best practices.
  • Support future cloud/SaaS initiatives and system modernization efforts.

User Support & Production Support

  • Provide Tier III functional and technical support for Blue Yonder WMS users.
  • Troubleshoot application issues involving warehouse operations, integrations, RF devices, printers, scanners, and system performance.
  • Analyze production issues, logs, database activity, interfaces, and application errors.
  • Develop support documentation, knowledge articles, and user training materials.
  • Partner with business users to improve adoption and operational efficiency.

Technical Development & Integrations

  • Develop and maintain technical solutions utilizing:
  • MOCA
  • MOCASQL
  • SQL / T-SQL
  • DDA Page Builder
  • Jasper Reports
  • Blue Yonder Integrator
  • Support integrations between WMS and ERP, transportation, automation, reporting, and other enterprise applications.
  • Participate in testing, deployments, release management, and continuous system improvements.

Application Security & Governance

  • Support application security administration including user access, role management, and security best practices.
  • Partner with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure application operations.
  • Participate in audit readiness, compliance initiatives, and change management activities.
  • Maintain secure development and deployment standards.

Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with Operations, IT leadership, Project Managers, Infrastructure, Development, and external vendors.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions and solution design discussions.
  • Create functional specifications, technical documentation, testing plans, and implementation documentation.
  • Drive process improvements and standardization across warehouse technology.


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Blue Yonder (JDA) Warehouse Management System experience
  • Strong hands-on experience configuring Blue Yonder WMS
  • Extensive experience providing enterprise-level user support
  • Experience with Blue Yonder technical development
  • Strong understanding of application security concepts and user access management
  • Experience supporting enterprise warehouse operations
  • Advanced SQL/T-SQL skills
  • Experience with:
  • MOCA
  • MOCASQL
  • DDA Page Builder
  • Jasper Reports
  • Blue Yonder Integrator
  • Experience troubleshooting production environments
  • Knowledge of ERP and WMS integrations
  • Experience with RF handheld devices, Zebra technologies, scanners, and warehouse hardware
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred
