Job description

Role Overview:
This role is for a Business Information Security Officer (BISO) focused on identifying and managing technology risks within the business unit. The BISO acts as a principal point of contact for cybersecurity issues, ensuring alignment between business needs and cybersecurity programs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying risks and assisting the business in making informed technology risk decisions.
  • Communicating the specific needs of the business to Cybersecurity and acting as the principal point of contact within the line of business or organizational unit for cybersecurity related issues.
  • Providing security design requirements and guidance based on IT Policy, Standards, Procedures and related programs.

Required Skills:
  • Expertise as a Business Information Security Officer (BISO).
  • Strong background in Cyber Security, including IAM Professional Services.
  • Ability to identify and assess technology risks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between business units and cybersecurity teams.
  • Proficiency in translating IT policies, standards, and procedures into practical security design requirements.

Qualifications:
  • 10 - 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Education: N/A.

Preferred Skills:
  • Monitoring industry security updates, technologies, and best practices to enhance security management.
  • Ability to respond to line of business customer queries regarding the Cybersecurity program.
  • CISM Certified professional.
