How you will create an impact:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of client projects while elevating the analysis and insights, and infusing client-centric depth for content,ย expertise, and knowledge to project deliverables.ย 
  • Drive project planning and execution by ensuring alignment of project delivery to client needs and objectives.ย

  • Lead project teams to desired end-goal by defining clear roles and responsibilities,ย demonstratingย strong project management approach and execution cadence, and being the primary point of contact for client teams.
  • Create engagement workplans and guide the team through the project activities, including oversight of primary/secondary research, and qualitative plus quantitative analysis to obtain key insights, findings, and takeaways for clients.ย 
  • Oversee the work and outputs of fellow team members across multiple engagements of various scales and scopes and provideย timelyย feedback to ensure both project timeline and deliverable quality are getting equally balanced.ย 
  • Proactively participate in the continued growth and development of Simon-Kucher's HC&LS Division / Pharma & Biotech by contributing to the practice priorities (e.g., developing new capabilities, supporting thought leadership articles/research relevant for clients), by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities (e.g., lead generation, new content creation, supporting end-to-end proposal development, and participating in client pitches), and proactively pursuing follow-on opportunities with existing clients (e.g., building and nurturing strong relationships, helping push the client to think beyond current phase, ensuring effective project delivery that meets and exceeds client's expectations).
  • Develop and deliver new thought leadership in collaboration with Pharma practice peers and seniors within our Healthcare and Life Sciences Division.ย 
  • Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to our clients' businesses.ย 
  • Analyze existing processes and tools and recommend opportunities for continued improvement.ย 
  • Coach and develop consultants staffed on projects.
  • Demonstrate an elevated level of empathy and emotional intelligence when managing conflict and/or communicating change.ย 
  • Play an integral role in the recruitment and integration of newย Healthcare & Life Sciences, Pharmaย consultants.ย

About you:
  • Outstanding drive, determination, and desire to be part of a growing, top tier consulting firm.ย ย 
  • An undergraduate degree isย required; MS, MA, MBA, or other advancedย degree isย preferred.ย ย 
  • Minimumย 4+ years of full-time work experience in a professional services environment, ideally in management consulting serving the Pharma & Biotech industry.ย ย 
  • Proven business consultingย expertiseย in disciplines such as growth strategies, go-to-market strategy, segmentation (advanced analytical), product and portfolio design, market access, pricing and contracting, marketing, value proposition development, and monetization strategies.ย 
  • Proven businessย consultingย expertiseย inย disciplines suchย as growth strategies,ย go-to-market strategy,ย segmentationย (advanced analytical),ย productย andย portfolio design,ย pricing,ย marketing,ย value proposition development,ย distribution strategy (omni-channel management, digitization, and channel orchestration),ย salesย strategiesย (salesย efficiency, processes, incentives, andย motivations),ย andย monetization strategies.ย 
  • Strong understanding of US market access as well asย previousย experience leading US projects.
  • Experience in the following is preferred: Life Sciences consulting experience performing pricing and market access, marketing, and/or strategy work for biopharmaceutical companies.ย ย 
  • Professional experience in analyzing and solving complex problems, which includes defining actionable recommendations using well-developed problem-solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, analytical).ย ย 
  • Solid understanding of marketing and market access / pricing concepts paired with relevant work experience.ย ย 
  • Effective presentation and communication abilitiesย to succinctlyย present findings, takeaways, and key recommendations to a senior audience.ย ย 
  • Record ofย accomplishment of managing multiple projects, including work plans,ย deliverablesย and timelines.ย ย 
  • Strong project management including planning and execution.ย 
  • Inclusive and empathetic team member; Has had strong supervisory experience in mentoring and coaching others.ย 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused attitude.ย 
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.ย 
  • Complex data analytic skills using Python, SQL, etc. is a plus.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary,ย performance bonus,ย eligibility for annual merit-based increases, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The basesalary range for this position is between 170,000 to 180,000 per year forU.S. roles. Specific compensation within these ranges will depend on factorssuch as experience, skills, and location. Salary ranges are reviewedperiodically to ensure alignment with market conditions.
