The JOB:

The Catering Manager is responsible for the coordination, servicing, and execution of all catering events-from weddings and social gatherings to group functions-ensuring flawless delivery of the client's vision. Unlike a sales role, this position is focused on building lasting relationships, overseeing event details, and partnering with operations teams to deliver extraordinary guest experiences.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients after the event has been booked, ensuring all details are confirmed and communicated internally.
  • Conduct thorough pre-event planning, including reviewing menus, room setups, timelines, and audiovisual needs.
  • Coordinate with culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of all event details.
  • Anticipate guest and client needs, respond promptly, and resolve concerns to ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage on-site event servicing, from setup through breakdown, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Stay knowledgeable of:
    1. Event function space, capacities, and room features (lighting, sound, AV capabilities).
    2. Banquet service standards and menu options.
    3. Billing, guarantee policies, and service charge guidelines.
  • Effectively handle multiple events simultaneously with attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Build positive guest and team member relationships while upholding Noble House service standards.
