Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Fixed Assets Analyst to manage and monitor fixed asset activity, ensure accurate ledger entries, and support audit readiness. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with fixed asset processes and a strong understanding of GAAP.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the fixed asset ledger for acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
Perform monthly reconciliations between fixed asset and general ledgers.
Monitor and capitalize construction-in-progress (CIP) assets timely.
Partner with operations to verify asset location, usage, and integrity.
Prepare accurate reports for internal stakeholders and external audits.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and US GAAP standards.
Support annual audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in fixed asset or general accounting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and fixed asset lifecycle.
Skilled in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle.
High attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
