Job description

Job Summary

Arm & Hammer is seeking a Sr. Account Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for acting as the main representative for Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition, focusing on managing relationships with medium and large poultry producers and their network of influencers.

Work Environment

Remote: This role is performed on a remote basis. Occasional attendance at in-person meetings required as business needs dictate. The ideal candidate is in Arkansas.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Achieve defined sales targets to drive accelerated growth in the region.

  • Build and maintain productive business relationships with a targeted group of poultry producers to increase product sales.

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key influencers in the poultry industry to expand our products' reach to additional farms.

  • Demonstrate the necessity of our core offerings to these influencers and their poultry customers.

  • Utilize account plans to assess and meet the needs of customers and influencers, including providing financial advice, product information, training, and data monitoring to boost sales of Arm & Hammer products.

  • Establish and implement communication strategies within the targeted market.

  • Regularly update and maintain records of targeted customers and influencers in the CRM system.

  • Relay distribution requirements and any issues to the Regional Account Manager.

  • Ensure overall customer satisfaction while achieving the necessary sales outcomes.

  • Be prepared to travel 50-75% of the time.

Education and Experience
  • A BS/MS degree in related fields is preferred.

  • 5+ years' experience selling in the poultry or equivalent industry.

  • Track record of achieving top and bottom-line growth results and proactively accomplishing assigned goals and objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships, handle multiple priorities, and work self-directly.
