Job description
About OneMagnify
OneMagnify is transforming into an AI-native, platform-enabled growth partner for complex B2B enterprises. We bring together strategy, data and analytics, technology, media, creative, and commerce to help clients connect planning, activation, customer experience, and measurement and turn those capabilities into measurable growth.
Helix is an important part of that vision: OneMagnify's modular, intelligence-driven platform foundation for connecting data, decisions, activation, and measurement. Helix is led by a dedicated platform leader. This role supports that leader while building the broader enterprise technology, architecture, AI, and engineering capabilities that allow Helix and other OneMagnify solutions to scale securely and integrate with complex client ecosystems.
The Role
OneMagnify is seeking a technically current enterprise technology and AI leader to shape and execute our company-wide technology agenda across client solutions, shared platforms, application development, enterprise and solution architecture, AI engineering, integration, reliability, and sales engineering. You will lead globally distributed technical capabilities and work across practices to create a coherent, reusable, secure technology foundation for OneMagnify.
This is a player-coach role. You will set strategy and build strong leaders, while personally shaping the architecture of high-stakes initiatives, reviewing designs and prototypes, resolving difficult delivery issues, and joining client and engineering teams when hands-on technical leadership is needed. The successful candidate will have led enterprise AI work continuously over the past five years, taking solutions from business case and prototype through production, governance, adoption, and measurable value.
The Head of Helix owns the platform vision, market proposition, product roadmap, prioritization, commercialization, and platform business outcomes. This role serves as the senior technology partner to the Head of Helix, providing enterprise architecture, engineering standards, shared AI and integration capabilities, production readiness, and technical leadership for critical workstreams. You will influence and enable Helix without owning its product roadmap.
The Impact You Will Have
Your mandate
Build OneMagnify's enterprise technology and applied AI capability so the company can deliver secure, scalable, AI-enabled solutions across clients and operations. You will personally lead the hardest technical work while building teams that can execute independently, help the Head of Helix convert product priorities into production-ready capabilities, modernize engineering, create reusable intellectual property, and connect technology execution to client outcomes, growth, delivery margin, and enterprise value.
What You Will Own
- Enterprise technology strategy and portfolio. Define and execute an 18- to 36-month technology strategy spanning client-facing solutions, shared platforms and services, the application portfolio, internal business systems, and the engineering toolchain. Establish investment priorities, modernization plans, and build-buy-partner decisions that reduce fragmentation, technical debt, and avoidable vendor dependence.
- Technology platform transformation. Define and lead the transformation of our Channel Solutions technology platforms into the Helix platform architecture. Identify, extract, and architect solution capabilities that can be standardized as reusable Helix components. Drive the refactoring and modernization of existing Channel Solutions platforms to align with the Helix framework. Develop domain-specific modules for areas such as Rebate Management, Incentive Processing, Pricing, and related channel offerings, while maximizing the use of shared Helix services and components. Establish the roadmap, architecture, and execution strategy that enables greater platform reuse, scalability, and faster solution delivery across channel-focused products.
- Enterprise AI strategy and value realization. Build a prioritized portfolio of enterprise AI opportunities across client offerings, delivery operations, and corporate functions. Lead the architecture and productionization of predictive AI and machine learning, generative AI, copilots, and agentic workflows. Establish standards for model and provider abstraction, retrieval and grounding, context and memory, tool use, human approvals, evaluation, guardrails, observability, privacy, resilience, latency, and cost. Measure business outcomes rather than pilot volume or tool adoption alone.
- Player-coach technical leadership. Personally lead or materially contribute to the most complex architecture and AI initiatives. Facilitate design reviews, challenge assumptions, inspect prototypes and code when appropriate, guide data and integration decisions, and help teams diagnose production or delivery failures. Remain close enough to the technology to earn credibility with engineers and identify risk before it becomes a client issue.
- Enterprise, application, and solution architecture. Create and govern reference architectures, integration patterns, engineering standards, and technology roadmaps across OneMagnify. Operate a practical design authority that improves consistency, reuse, interoperability, and security without slowing delivery. Make tradeoffs explicit, manage exceptions, and ensure bespoke client work can contribute to a reusable enterprise capability.
- Application engineering and engineering excellence. Lead and mature application development, AI engineering, integration engineering, quality engineering, reliability, and sales engineering capabilities. Establish clear product and service ownership, development and release standards, automated testing, quality gates, capacity planning, incident management, and measurable engineering performance. Scale secure AI-assisted software delivery based on improvements in speed, quality, and maintainability.
- Helix technology partnership and enablement. Partner with the Head of Helix and product leadership to translate product priorities into architecture, engineering plans, integration patterns, and production-readiness requirements. Provide or coordinate shared technical capabilities and talent, ensure Helix aligns with OneMagnify enterprise standards, and help resolve cross-platform dependencies. Product direction, roadmap prioritization, and commercialization remain accountable to the Head of Helix.
- Martech, adtech, data, and commerce integration. Lead architecture across CRM, customer data platforms, marketing automation, media and advertising platforms, identity and consent, content and digital experience platforms, digital asset management, commerce, analytics, and cloud data platforms. Design reliable API, event-driven, batch, and streaming flows that support identity resolution, activation, personalization, and closed-loop measurement. Partner with data and analytics leaders on quality, lineage, governance, semantic consistency, and activation readiness.
- Cloud, security, reliability, and economics. Advance cloud-native engineering, infrastructure as code, DevSecOps, continuous delivery, automated testing, platform and AI observability, site reliability engineering, disaster recovery, and FinOps. Establish LLMOps and MLOps practices for model, prompt, workflow, evaluation, and configuration lifecycle management. Work with security, legal, and privacy leaders to embed controls for identity, access, encryption, secrets, client and tenant data isolation, data residency, intellectual property, responsible AI, and third-party model and provider risk.
- Technology organization, talent, and partners. Build and coach a globally distributed organization and its leaders. Define the right mix of onshore, nearshore, offshore, employee, contractor, and partner capacity. Create clear roles, career paths, succession plans, and performance expectations. Select and govern systems integrators and technology partners through measurable outcomes, service levels, documentation, knowledge transfer, quality, security, and cost.
- Client solutioning and commercialization. Serve as a senior technical leader for strategic pursuits and priority accounts. Lead discovery, solution architecture, prototyping, estimation, delivery risk assessment, RFP responses, and executive presentations. Convert successful client work into reusable accelerators, managed solutions, reference architectures, and platform capabilities. Partner with growth, practice, product, and finance leaders on packaging, cost to serve, pricing inputs, and margin.
- Executive governance and investment. Provide clear, decision-oriented communication to the executive team and board on technology strategy, AI value and risk, architecture, engineering performance, investment needs, partner performance, and value realization. Manage budgets within scope, make transparent portfolio tradeoffs, and maintain a concise scorecard linking technical execution to adoption, client outcomes, revenue, margin, and enterprise value.
What Success Looks Like in the First 12 Months
- Within the first 90 days, complete a fact-based assessment of OneMagnify's technology portfolio, enterprise AI maturity, architecture, engineering capabilities, delivery model, partner dependencies, technical debt, security posture, and operational risk. Publish a prioritized 18- to 24-month enterprise technology and AI roadmap, talent plan, and investment thesis.
- Establish a clear working model with the Head of Helix that defines decision rights, shared architecture and engineering responsibilities, cross-platform dependencies, production-readiness standards, and escalation paths while preserving the Head of Helix's ownership of product direction and roadmap priorities.
- Move a focused portfolio of high-value enterprise AI use cases from prototype to secure production and demonstrate measurable business impact in client outcomes, delivery productivity, quality, revenue, or operating leverage.
- Implement a practical design authority, secure AI engineering standards, reusable reference architectures, and production-grade evaluation, tracing, observability, release, and support practices for priority AI and agentic workflows.
- Deliver measurable improvement in engineering cycle time, release quality, reuse, reliability, incident recovery, cloud and model unit costs, AI-assisted development effectiveness, partner performance, and team engagement.
- Strengthen the technology leadership bench, close critical skill gaps, clarify accountability across internal and partner teams, and create an operating cadence that enables faster decisions and predictable execution.
- Directly support strategic client wins and expansion opportunities, showing how OneMagnify's enterprise technology and AI capabilities create differentiated business outcomes and commercially reusable solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 15 or more years of progressive experience. In software, application, platform, or product engineering and enterprise architecture, including at least seven years leading engineering organizations, senior leaders, and globally distributed teams.
- A sustained five-year record leading enterprise AI. You have held meaningful accountability for enterprise AI and machine learning work throughout the past five years, progressing from predictive AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation to generative and agentic AI. Your experience includes strategy, investment decisions, architecture, production delivery, governance, adoption, and measurable business outcomes, not only demonstrations or proofs of concept.
- Direct production experience with generative and agentic AI. You can explain the architectures, data and grounding approaches, evaluations, failure modes, human controls, safety and privacy protections, performance, unit economics, operating model, and lessons from enterprise systems you have actually shipped.
- Current player-coach technical depth. You are comfortable leading architecture and design sessions, reviewing technical artifacts and code, shaping prototypes, assessing model and vendor choices, diagnosing complex delivery issues, and making sound tradeoffs with engineering teams.
- Broad enterprise technology leadership. You have led a technology portfolio that spans application development, enterprise and solution architecture, shared platforms, integrations, internal systems, cloud services, engineering operations, and modernization.
- Deep distributed architecture and integration expertise. You understand API-first and event-driven design, modular services, workflow orchestration, identity and access, data contracts, resiliency patterns, and the tradeoffs among containers, serverless, managed services, SaaS, and custom development.
- Strong cloud, data, and engineering operations experience. You bring practical command of at least one major hyperscaler, DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, continuous delivery, automated quality engineering, observability, SRE, FinOps, batch and streaming data, cloud warehouses or lakehouses, semantic or vector retrieval, metadata, lineage, and data quality.
- Enterprise ecosystem and martech experience. You have integrated multiple enterprise marketing, advertising, customer experience, content, commerce, analytics, identity, customer data, or CRM platforms and understand how data, decisions, activation, and measurement work together in heterogeneous client environments.
- A secure-by-design and responsible-AI mindset. You have practical experience managing software, cloud, data, and AI risk, including privacy, client and tenant data segregation, identity and access, model and provider risk, intellectual property, data residency, and enterprise control frameworks.
- Global team and partner leadership. You have built and operated distributed teams and effectively governed offshore delivery, vendors, and systems integrators through clear outcomes, technical standards, service levels, knowledge transfer, and accountability.
- Strong consulting and client-facing capability. You can lead executive discovery, complex solution design, estimation, delivery risk assessment, client workshops, RFPs, and technical positioning for high-value pursuits and strategic accounts.
