Job Description We are seeking an Application Architect III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in production application reliability, container platforms, CICD, and automation and a proven ability to stabilize complex systems and drive operational excellence. Responsibilities: Provide end-to-end support of production applications to ensure stability, reliability, and performance. Conduct in-depth analysis to troubleshoot system errors and performance issues. Perform proactive stability analysis to identify improvement opportunities. Own root cause analysis and implement appropriate remediation. Lead chronic issue investigations to minimize business impact and maintain system health. Drive proactive monitoring reviews and implementation strategies. Collaborate with Engineering, Application Development, and Infrastructure teams on break fixes, code updates, configuration changes, and production enhancements. Manage application operations including business continuity, server patching coordination, vulnerability remediation, and Splunk monitoring setup. Lead production incident triage calls and ensure timely resolution. Provide on-call production support, including weekend rotation on a round-robin basis. Execute disaster recovery procedures and strategies. Respond to and resolve production tickets promptly to meet SLAs. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience with OpenShift containers, Kubernetes, and Apache Kafka. Hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Tower, JFrog Artifactory, GitHub, XL Release or Harness, and CloudBees Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Experience with SaaS and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Expertise in Unix systems and shell operations. Experience with artifact repositories, dependency management, and compliance scanning for vulnerabilities and policy violations. Strong understanding of CICD pipelines and release orchestration. Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation. Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk. Demonstrated contributions to automation for operational efficiency. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in production support or a similar role, preferably in a CICD platform environment. Availability for on-call support, including weekend rotations, on a round-robin basis. 7+ years of experience in production operations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work. Familiarity with Oracle or PostgreSQL. Knowledge of F5 load balancers, GTM, high availability architectures, and disaster recovery strategies. Preferred Skills: Certifications in Red Hat Linux, DevOps methodologies, or related fields.
