We are seeking a strategic leader to shape and operationalise our global Data & AI Governance framework. This is a high-impact role ensuring that data and AI are trusted, compliant, and leveraged responsibly across underwriting, claims, finance, and beyond-unlocking innovation while maintaining rigorous control.ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Design and lead the enterprise Data Governance operating modelย 
  • Chair Data & AI Governance Committees and influence senior stakeholdersย 
  • Establish policies across data classification, quality, retention, and accessย 
  • Build and implement AI governance aligned to EU AI Act, GDPR, and global regulationsย 
  • Oversee model risk management, AI lifecycle governance, and third-party AI usageย 
  • Drive data quality, metadata management, and lineage transparencyย 
  • Partner with architecture, cybersecurity, and business teams to embed governance-by-designย 
  • Enableย self serviceย data and AI across domainsย 

Experience & Skillsย 

  • 10+ years in data governance, risk, or data leadership rolesย 
  • Strong experience within insurance, reinsurance, or financial servicesย 
  • Deep knowledge of GDPR, AI governance, and model risk frameworksย 
  • Experience with governance tooling (e.g., Collibra, Purview, Erwin)ย 
  • Strong understanding of AWS-based data ecosystemsย 
  • Proven ability to influence across technical and business stakeholdersย
