The Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient dental office environment. This position is responsible for managing appointments, handling patient communication, and supporting administrative and billing tasks.
Greet patients warmly and check them in/out for appointments
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments
Verify and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
Manage appointment calendars and coordinate with dental staff
Handle patient billing, collect payments, and process insurance claims
Maintain accurate records using dental practice management software
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and professional
Assist with reminder calls, follow-ups, and patient communication
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Salary Range

Full-time $25 - $30 per hour
