Job Description: Turning Point Action is seeking a full-time Office Administrator who will be responsible for managing our front desk reception area and performing a variety of administrative tasks around the office. Responsibilities include but aren't limited to welcoming guests positively, directing visitors, assisting in our warehouse with inventory of office and food supplies, as well as distributing mail and packages to the appropriate people. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and welcoming personality, while also having the responsibility of being the first impression as people walk through the door.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to appropriate person/office
  • Distribute daily mail/deliver to appropriate department/employee
  • Maintain reception and front desk area
  • Driving outside the office for events, pick up items, etc
  • Taking inventory of drinks, snacks, office supplies, etc and reorder accordingly
  • Creating shipping labels for outgoing packages
  • Scheduling company/employee events
  • Monitoring email inboxes and directing messages to the appropriate teams
  • Coordinate various contractors and services providers as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Organized
  • Multitasking and time management skills
  • Flexible with working events outside of normal office hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

“WOW!” SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in ordering bulk food/drinks
  • Past involvement with political campaign or organization
