Job description

Pain Management Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Physician to join our healthcare team in Coldwater, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to improve patient quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate and diagnose patients experiencing acute and chronic pain.
  • Develop and implement individualized pain management treatment plans.
  • Perform interventional pain procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and other minimally invasive techniques.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, psychologists, and primary care providers.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about pain management options and expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in pain management techniques and best practices.

Qualifications include:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or related specialty.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Michigan.
