Different careers in management include specialized technical positions, such as being a project manager, as well as HR or first-line managers who hire and train employees at a company and oversee the daily operations of the employees. For example, a project manager typically takes over on a specific project, such as an engineering or software development project. You assemble a team, plan a budget and timeline, and keep workers on track throughout the project.
