Assistant Property Manager โ€“ The Residences at Tesson Ridge Location: South County - St. Louis, Missouri Company: Propper Asset Management Employment Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt Schedule: Mondayโ€“Saturday (weekend flexibility required, primarily scheduled in advance) ABOUT PROPPER ASSET MANAGEMENT Propper Asset Management LLC is a privately owned real estate investment and management firm with residential and commercial properties throughout Missouri. This position is located at The Residences at Tesson Ridge, a large luxury multifamily community in South St. Louis County. Our team takes pride in delivering exceptional service and maintaining a welcoming, high-quality living environment. Key Responsibilities In this role, you'll support the Property Manager in all aspects of community operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, tracking rental income, and ensuring financial accuracy in Yardi or similar property management software. You'll assist in preparing and managing operating and capital budgets, help coordinate and host resident events, and lead community outreach programs that promote resident satisfaction and retention. You'll handle leasing activities from start to finish - touring prospective residents, following up on leads, executing leases, and coordinating renewals - while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local property management laws. This position also includes vendor coordination, maintaining property standards, and assisting in training and supporting new team members to build a strong and cohesive on-site team. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in multifamily property management (required) Proven record of maintaining high occupancy, low turnover, and low delinquency rates Strong budget management and accounting experience Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency with Yardi Property Management Software Knowledge of Fair Housing and landlord-tenant laws Valid driver's license, reliable transportation This is an on-site role.
