Job description

Position Summary
"Ensures the on-time delivery of cost competitive products with the highest quality.
Management of receiving, storing, loading, transporting finished goods products in the United States, Canada, and Mexico."
Role and Responsibilities
1. Contract Management - to manage, review with two 3PLs contracts on Warehousing and Transportation consistently to drive on-time delivery with the highest quality at the most competitive logistics cost. If requirement from SEHA is not fulfilled, responsible for RFQ, RFP of new 3PLs.
2. Inventory Management - to ensure On-Time Factory Out, FIFO, prevent Surplus and Shortage to fulfill customers' delivery requirement.
3. Transportation/Container Yard Management - to meet transportation capacities are fulfilled to support production, inventory accuracy of container yard, inspection of containers to ensure high quality delivery and supply to customers per their requirement.
4. Warehouse Management - to provide the safest work environment to employees, equipment management, loading procedures, Pro-3M, and HR Issues.
5. Direct Shipment Management - to ensure SEHA supplies 60%↑ to direct customers such as Lowe's, Best Buy, Costco, Aaron's, etc. to save cost by supplying directly to customers. Communicate with Production Planning, SEA Supply Chain, HQ Global Operation Center to maximize the direct shipment orders are received and confirmed.
6. Cost Saving Activities - to innovatively and efficiently manage procedures, processes, and purchases. Cost Saving activities which logistics part has performed previously includes changing vendors for hiring agency for warehouse (Mark-up 36% → 32%), changing vendors for consumables (Airbags $7/CNTR → $3/CNTR), changing transportation mode for exports ($1.7/set saving), operating outbound warehouse's 2nd shift with half manpower.

Skills and Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related field.
2. Experience: No experience required (1 year experience in SCM operation or manufacturing experience preferred)
3. Knowledge: [Preferred] Thorough understanding of Logistics Process, Inventory Management, Transportation, Logistics
4. Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast paced and goal orientated environment. High proficiency in Excel.
Additional Skills : [Required]: Problem solving (Seeking the root cause(s) of problems; Coming up with and proposing the most optimal solution on time), Communication (Accurately understanding others' requests and clearly expressing and delivering oneself in the most effective manner), Customer Focus (Maximizing customer satisfaction by operating resources and making decisions based on understanding the customer), Decision-making (Establishing alternatives from a rational perspective; Making judgments accurately on time), Planning & Organizing (Designing systematic and feasible strategies and tactics aligned with the organization's strategy and visions).
