Description
As a Bilingual Assistant Liaison/Property Manager, your primary goal will be learning about the day-to-day operations and management of a Liaison for our co-op member properties. You are required to gain an understanding of how to develop and maintain professional relationships with members on and off-site. As well as learning how to coordinate Leasing, Maintenance, Finance, and Facilities operations of multiple co-op properties, some of which have residents who speak exclusively Mandarin, to create and maintain overall successful and fluid processes.
As a Bilingual Assistant Liaison/Property Manager, you will work with and support our volunteer members. You will help ensure a rewarding experience by helping to educate them on HUD, Fair Housing laws, and CSI procedures. This role will also educate you on working with staff and committees to manage vacancies.
This position includes learning about the co-op system, working with the co-op coordinator to meet operational goals, and supporting the entire Liaison department. Duties may include clerical and administrative duties as well as any assignments or projects designated by your immediate supervisor.

Required education and experience
  • Associate degree, Bachelor's preferred, equivalent experience or a combination of both
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is strongly preferred.
