Position Summary

The Onboarding & Offboarding Engineer is responsible for leading the technical onboarding, upboarding, and offboarding of client-partners. This role oversees technical discovery, documentation, solution deployment, knowledge transfer, and transition planning to ensure a seamless partner experience and operational readiness. The position works closely with Sales, Partner Success, Projects, Core Services, and Service teams to deliver consistent, scalable, and standardized transition processes.

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in technical support, systems administration, project implementation, onboarding, or related IT roles.
  • Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.

Education

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Skills & Abilities

  • Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Windows Server administration.
  • Networking fundamentals including VLANs, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, switching, wireless, and VPN.
  • IT documentation platforms (IT Glue preferred).
  • PSA/RMM platforms such as ConnectWise Manage and Datto RMM.
  • Network discovery, asset management, and environment documentation.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to identify and document infrastructure, backup, VoIP, and business applications.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding, upboarding, and offboarding projects.
  • Maintain technical documentation and environment records.
  • Deploy Entech standards, tools, and security solutions.
  • Support project execution, migrations, and knowledge transfer.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, partners, and vendors.
