What You'll Do
As our Dental Front Desk Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring the daily operations of the front office run efficiently.
  • Welcome patients with professionalism and compassion while creating an exceptional first impression.
  • Check patients in and out while maintaining an efficient patient flow.
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding treatment, scheduling, pricing, financing, and office policies.
  • Verify and maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
  • Process payments, collect balances, and reconcile daily transactions.
  • Discuss financing options, including CareCredit, when appropriate.
  • Assist patients with insurance documentation and claim information.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Follow up with prospective patients and encourage scheduling.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and administrative materials.
  • Support office operations by preparing reports and administrative paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Assist the clinical team with chairside support when needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the practice.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of dental front office or dental receptionist experience required
  • Previous experience scheduling patients in a dental practice
  • Experience using Dentrix preferred
  • CareCredit experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and patient scheduling
  • Experience managing the full dental insurance process, including insurance verification, benefit review, claim submission, pre-authorizations, payment posting, claim follow-up, and patient financial communication
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office
  • Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
  • Chairside assisting or oral surgery experience is a plus but not required
