The Maître d’ is the first and last impression of the restaurant, responsible for creating a warm, polished, and welcoming experience for every guest. This role oversees reservations, manages the flow of the dining room, coordinates seating, and works closely with the service team to ensure exceptional hospitality and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
  • Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant reservation system.
  • Coordinate seating to maximize efficiency while maintaining service standards.
  • Maintain awareness of VIP guests, special occasions, and guest preferences.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff regarding guest needs and table status.
  • Monitor the pace of service and dining room flow to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Address guest concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Answer telephone inquiries regarding reservations, restaurant information, and private dining opportunities.
