Job Summary
The Plant Bed Maintenance Foreman is responsible for leading a small team while performing a variety of horticultural and landscape services. This hands-on position includes pruning and trimming, mulch installation, plant bed maintenance, and other landscape maintenance practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of proper pruning techniques, plant identification, along with the ability to lead a crew and maintain the highest standards of quality and professionalism.  Work references are required.

Responsibilities 
  • Lead and manage a horticultural crew
  • Perform trimming/pruning
  • Have plant knowledge
  • Operate truck and trailer safely
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly secured before leaving each job site
  • Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of vehicles, trailers, and equipment
  • Maintain quality standards and complete jobs efficiently
  • Report any equipment damage, property damage, and/or employee injuries immediately
Requirements
  • Experience leading a horticultural crew
  • Experience operating a truck and trailer
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications (but not required)
  • Landscape Design experience a plus!
