Job description

Maintenance Planner/Coordinator
Canton, MA

Pay rate: $35–$36/hour
Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Direct Hire

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner/Coordinator to support maintenance operations by managing spare parts, equipment, and inventory in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with inventory control and maintenance systems.

Responsibilities
  • Manage MRO inventory, including spare parts, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order parts as needed to support maintenance and production.
  • Prepare and stage parts for preventive maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
  • Receive, organize, and store incoming materials.
  • Ensure inventory processes and documentation are accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with maintenance and production teams to support daily operations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storeroom while following all safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of experience in plant maintenance, MRO, inventory control, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
