The Position

The Maintenance Manager will report directly to the GM and will be responsible for managing client relationships across a portfolio of commercial and residential landscape accounts. This position will also lead maintenance crews to deliver exceptional customer service.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction through regular site visits and communication with owners, clients, architects, and contractors
  • Own the profitability and performance of maintenance contracts, ensuring costs are in accordance with budget and performance requirements
  • Lead a maintenance team, including forecasting labor needs, hiring, managing, training and developing employees, and conducting performance appraisals
  • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, and equipment purchasing and repairs
  • Manage contract renewals and identification of sales opportunities


Qualifications and Candidate Background

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in landscaping services, construction management, facilities management or a related field
  • Experience in a client or customer-facing role is strongly preferred
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence team members and clients
  • Ability to understand costs, revenue, billing, budgets, and other business concepts
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus, but not necessary
  • Bonus points for supervisory experience in a business services company
