Their American-made products are trusted by businesses across the country, and they are seeking a skilled Industrial Polisher to help produce high-quality stainless steel components.

Responsibilities

As a Polisher, you will be responsible for grinding, blending, polishing, and finishing light-gauge (14-18 gauge) stainless steel components to meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to read engineering drawings, and experience using a variety of hand and power tools (e.g. angle grinders, etc.) You will play a key role in ensuring finished products meet appearance, functionality, and quality expectations while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Grind, polish, blend, and buff stainless steel surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Operate angle grinders, high-speed grinders, cut-off wheels, polishing wheels, handheld finishing tools, and other power tools.
• Remove weld marks, scratches, dents, burrs, and surface imperfections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Measure and identify materials to ensure production specifications are met.
• Inspect finished components for quality, consistency, and cosmetic appearance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as an Industrial Polisher, Metal Finisher, Stainless Steel Polisher, Fabrication Technician, Sheet Metal Fabricator, or Manufacturing Technician preferred.
• Experience using polishing equipment, buffers, handheld grinders, and other power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality finished products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.
