Job Title: Maintenance ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager for a direct hire salaried position, working Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm, with potential Saturday overtime once or twice a month. The role involves leading maintenance efforts, ensuring smooth operations, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Actively supervise employees in the daily coordination, execution, and planning of maintenance efforts, including a 24/7 maintenance team.
  • Report any information that may impede plant operations to the Site Manager, while providing technical expertise regarding plant equipment and facilities.
  • Initiate and maintain a cost-effective preventive maintenance program and implement quality improvement and cost reduction ideas.
  • Contact and work with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results.
  • Manage machine reliability initiatives.
  • Maintain adequate inventories of spare parts and purchase materials, parts, and supplies as required.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems, making data-driven decisions.
  • Identify areas where safety issues could arise and take proactive measures to address concerns.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor the timely completion of maintenance work orders.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with plant management, supervisory staff, and hourly employees.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Communicate continually in a positive manner.
  • Participate in weekly, monthly, semiannual, and annual safety and environmental audits.
