Job Summary:
  • A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment reliability, facility performance, and operational efficiency to support the continuous production of high-quality finished goods. The Maintenance Manager will oversee departmental planning, asset management strategies, budgeting, and team leadership to drive uptime and overall plant performance.

Job Duties:
  • Lead, plan, and oversee all maintenance activities across plant facilities and surrounding grounds
  • Manage preventive maintenance (PM) and work order systems to ensure optimal equipment reliability
  • Oversee repair and maintenance of production equipment and facility systems within approved budgets
  • Supervise maintenance leadership and staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, GMPs, and company policies
  • Coordinate capital projects and contractor activities, working with vendors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies
  • Manage spare parts inventory, purchasing, storage, and utilization strategies
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and lead special projects as required
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, and operations teams
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards

Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment
    • Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, steam systems, and refrigeration
    • Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems, industrial electrical systems, and steam boilers
    • Experience with food-grade manufacturing environments and regulatory compliance
    • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills

      • Bilingual English/Spanish
