A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE/BUILDING MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE.

As a Maintenance Associate/Building Maintenance Associate you will perform general maintenance duties at all retail locations to ensure a safe, productive environment for internal and external customers. Provide 24/7 facilities support for all Goodwill locations. Inspect, maintain and repair heating, electrical, A/C, water and lighting systems; outsource when necessary. Perform general construction work related to requested alterations. Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance duties as needed. Perform seasonal exterior work (for example, snow removal, plowing, painting).


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE/BUILDING MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • General carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC skills
  • Knowledge of tools and safe handling
  • Valid driver's license
  • Driving record that allows insurability at the level required by the organization

WORK SCHEDULE

You must be able to provide 24/7 support for Goodwill facilities in Portage, Summit, Medina, Ashland and Richland counties
