Reports To: General Manager
SUMMARY:
The Club at Windward is a premier lakeside destination featuring top-tier amenities, including 4 padel courts, 6 pickleball courts, 18 tennis courts, 2 platform courts, 4 swimming pools, and a full-service marina. We're seeking a Maintenance Associate to assist with maintenance and upkeep across the clubhouse, courts, and aquatics facilities, supporting a high-quality member experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, outdoor work and takes pride in maintaining a clean, functional, and welcoming environment.
General Purpose:
Responsible for performing daily repair, maintenance, and upkeep of the Aquatics Center, Clubhouse, and court areas.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation, including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
  • Maintains cleanliness and appearance of the exterior of the tennis facility, including but not limited to: emptying trash cans, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
  • Assists with the upkeep of the tennis courts.
  • Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas, including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
  • Prepares and maintains Har-Tru tennis courts throughout the day and replaces clay as needed.
  • Cleans and maintains court equipment.
  • Cleans walkways and entryways.
  • Repairs court nets and windscreens as needed.
  • Keeps court water containers clean and filled with fresh water.
  • Monitors supply usage and informs supervisor when items need to be restocked.
  • Follows all facility rules and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/ Experience:
Less than high school education; or up to one-month experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands and uses hands; reaches with hands and arms, talks or hears. Regularly walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, or crouches. Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
