Job description

Qualified candidates will be responsible for servicing and troubleshooting the production and support equipment within our plant, and be able to work independently, or as a member of a team. This position will include project support, preventive, and predictive maintenance. Must follow/support all Company safety procedures and perform all work in a safe manner. 

•    Dependable and responsible
•    Positive work attitude
•    Effectively communicate daily issues through documentation, emails and verbal communication 
•    Performs preventative maintenance, light tool work, repairs and replaces parts on mechanical equipment such as Presses, Sanders and Conveyor systems. 
•    Working knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Fabrication and Welding
•    Understands and applies appropriate and prescribed safety procedures and practices
•    Must have the ability to apply problem solving techniques to complex situations, read blue prints, job data sheets, and safety instructions  
•    Work efficiently and without direct supervision
•    Possess basic computer skills and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows software
•    Trouble shoot electrical systems (PLC programing experience a bonus)
•    Working knowledge of 240V and 480V 3 phase and 110 volt AC and DC.
•    Qualified applicants will have a Vocational Degree in a related field and or a minimum of 5 years’ experience. 
•    Climb and use ladders (Ability To Work In High Areas Comfortably Using Aerial Platforms), carry or maneuver 50+ pounds
•    Twist, bend, stoop, or stand for long periods of time
•    Have manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination
