Now Hiring: 

Full-Time Maintenance Assistant 

Shift is Monday through Friday 1st shift, on-call every other weekend 

Responsibilities: 

  • Troubleshoot building mechanical problems. 

  • Perform miscellaneous repairs, scheduled, and preventative maintenance on equipment ensuring satisfactory operations. 

  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, various heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. 

  • Follow established safety rules, policies, and procedures of the maintenance department. 

  • On-call duty 

  • Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director and Administrator. 

Qualifications: 

  • Maintenance apprenticeship desirable.

  • Previous long-term care experience is desirable.

  • Experience in basic repair and maintenance such as plumbing, carpentry, and painting.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 

  • Ability to work independently or part of a group. 

  • Computer knowledge. 

  • Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required.
