Burnett Medical Center is currently looking for a full-time maintenance assistant.


SHIFT & HOURS:  1.0 FTE; 1:30pm to 10pm, M-F; rotating call


RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Responsible for grounds care and snow removal, patching and painting, floor care, preventive maintenance of various equipment, along with HVAC, plumbing and electrical duties, security checks, repair of equipment. Will need to read blue prints and schematics. Occasionally makes runs to area hospitals and the St. Paul area. Subject to on-call (every 6 weeks), runs for various departments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Light electrical knowledge
  • Light plumbing knowledge 
  • Good interpersonal skills, teamwork.
  • Previous maintenance experience preferred. 
  • Locksmith experience a plus.
  • Must be able to lift 50# and pass a job-specific PT screen. 
  • Must possess a valid, unencumbered Wisconsin driver's license.Â
