THE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT HAS THREE (3) OPENINGS ON THE ROTATING SHIFTS FOR MAINTENANCE APPRENTICES STARTING 6000 HOURS AT THE WAGE RATE OF $34.24 AND WORKING UP TO A MAINTENANCE MECHANIC AT A RATE OF $39.68. WAGE PROGRESSION IS SUBJECT TO PERFORMANCE RATINGS PER THE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM, WHICH IS 8000 HOURS.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
DURING THE APPRENTICESHIP, APPRENTICES SHALL RECEIVE SUCH INSTRUCTION AND EXPERIENCE AS IS NECESSARY TO DEVELOP A PRACTICAL AND VERSATILE WORKER, VERSED IN THE THEORY AND PRACTICES OF A MECHANIC, ELECTRICIAN AND ELECTRONICS COVERED BY THE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1.APPLICANTS MUST BE PHYSICALLY CAPABLE OF PERFORMING THE JOB DUTIES AND TASKS REQUIRED OF THE OCCUPATION. A COMPLETE COMPANY PAID MEDICAL EXAMINATION MUST BE PASSED BY THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS.
2.APPLICANTS MUST PASS A VALIDATED TEST ESTABLISHED BY THE NATIONAL MAINTENANCE APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE (MINIMUM PASSING SCORE OF 70). MUST TAKE AND PASS REQUIRED TESTING DURING TIME PERIOD JOB IS POSTED.
