Mailroom Operations Specialist
Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
3+Month (Temp to Perm)
Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm

Qualifications
  • This position is based at Few Hall and supports daily mailroom and operational services, including incoming/outgoing mail, package processing, shipping/receiving, document handling, and equipment operation in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

  • Process incoming/outgoing mail, packages, faxes, and shipments
  • Operate high-volume copy, scanning, mail processing, and bindery equipment
  • Perform binding, finishing, shrink-wrapping, stapling, hole drilling, cutting, sorting, stacking, and related production tasks
  • Handle shipping, receiving, distribution, postage application, and mail sorting duties
  • Use handheld devices, POS systems, computers, MS Office, and email systems
  • Maintain organized workspaces and assist with housekeeping duties
  • Travel between buildings as needed
  • Lift up to 50-55 lbs. and push carts/equipment up to 400 lbs. on wheels
  • Support additional operational duties as assigned
  • Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Previous high-volume mailroom experience required
  • Warehouse, retail, shipping/receiving, or mail experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and email systems
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills
  • Technical aptitude with postage machines and office equipment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and lift throughout the workday
  • Comfortable operating mailroom, copy, and bindery equipment
  • Reliable transportation or access to public transportation recommended due to parking costs
